I'm seriously thinking of re-starting an online discussion group for ADHD in San Diego. Even though I have my hands full with the "Hey Look a Squirrel" meetup group it would be the logical next step in "Building an Interconnected Community" for adults in the San Diego region with ADHD.
I'm considering taking the fourth Thursday for the next three months - that means the next one will be on December 28. The topic for the first meeting is "ADHD: How does it manifest?"
Invitation Text
This will be an open discussion of our individual experiences with ADHD conducted virtually on Google Meet. How does ADHD manifest in our daily everyday lives? How do we think different from normal people? When is this a problem? When can this be used to our advantage? This is the first of a series of online discussions we are planning to organize on the fourth Thursday of each month open to active members of "Hey Look, a Squirrel". Please be respectful, but bring your authentic self to this online meeting - it should be both interesting and fun

At the moment, it is open only to "active members" - meaning members who have attended one of our real-world gatherings or have contributed to this community development effort in some other way. The bar for becoming an "active member" is pretty low - just let us know how you'd like to help out. This meeting could possibly need a co-moderator if you are good at that, but someone who is good at notetaking and producing a transcript is especially needed.
Contact the Host if you have any questions or ideas.

As expected, the process of writing this post has inspired me to go ahead and post it. On balance, I don't think it will hurt the real-world meetup so full speed ahead.
